My Money Checking Account

A My Money Checking account is a great compliment to your savings account. It's also an easy way to show your parents how well you can manage your own money. Although, "checking" doesn't always mean check writing, it is required for debit card transactions and some online banking products.

Fast Cash

Out at the mall, the movies, or even at the beach and you run out of cash? No worries, just make sure you have your My Money ATM card with you and you can withdraw funds at the nearest ATM or use your My Money Debit card and pay right from your checking account. Easy!

• $100 daily withdrawal limit (ages 13 - 17 years)

• $100 daily Point of Purchase limit (ages 13 - 17 years)

• ATM/Debit requires parent approval.

Need Credit??? We got it!

Get the credit due you with your own My Money MasterCard credit card. Now, if your parents are reading this they probably just made a loud sigh followed by a "WHAT?! NO WAY!" So when they're finished "freaking out" over the idea of you having a credit card have them read on, it will make them feel a little better.

$100 Credit Limit (ages 13-14 years)
All accounts including MasterCard credit, Savings (if ATM is issued), and Checking must have parent/guardian as joint owner and/or cosigner on the account.

$200 Credit Limit (ages 15-17 years)
All accounts including MasterCard credit, Savings (if ATM is issued), and Checking must have parent/guardian as joint owner and/or cosigner on the account. Proof of employment may be required.

$500 Credit Limit (ages 18-19 years)
Proof of employment and/or cosigner may be required for My Money MasterCard Credit Card.

My Money Online

To "bank" online, simply log into Home Banking from the top left of any page on our website. Your My Money gives you access to all sorts of electronic services. My Money Online allows you to check balances, transfer funds, sign up for FREE e-statements and FREE bill pay.

Legal Stuff...

My Money program is open to members who are 13 to 19 years of age. Eligible members can open a savings and checking account as well as get an ATM/Debit card, and a MasterCard credit card (a checking account is required for Debit and Credit approval). Members or parent/guardian must be a member for at least one year to qualify. Parent/Guardian is required as joint owner on checking accounts and as cosigner on credit card for members 13-17 years of age. Credit reports will be run on those applying for MasterCard credit card. Member/Cosigner must meet credit union lending guidelines.
